Kenosha Public Museums Offer Free, Holiday, Family Fun, For The 2015 Holiday Season: Annual International Holiday Festival, with artisans, crafters, food and more, and Festive Holiday Train Display.

​​​The Kenosha Public Museums invite the public to experience the holiday sights, smells, and artistry of the many different cultures from around the globe at the 14th Annual International Holiday Festival, December 5th, 2015, 11am to 3pm.  Bring the whole family and take a trip around the world! Be sure to stop in the Museum’s Lobby to view the Holiday Train Display available from November 27 through January 10, 2016.

This year’s Festival offerings:

·       Browse the International Market and purchase hard to find specialty foods from around the world.

·       Get all your holiday shopping done in one place!  From family and friends, to office and exchange gifts, teacher and other appreciation gifts, to the person who has everything, you’re sure to find a unique gift, at the festival, created by talented international artisans and crafters

·       Enjoy live musical performances provided throughout the day, and be the first to see the new Irish Dance Performance added to the festival this year.

·       Send your holiday greetings via Kenosha Community Media, TWC Channel 14, who be on hand to record holiday greetings, to be broad-casted during the month of December.

Don’t forget to visit the Civil War Museum as well for a day of Civil War Era programs, exhibits, music, crafts, and dance and explore how civilians, the soldiers, and their families, celebrated the Christmas holiday during the Civil War period.

The Kenosha Public Museums, owned by the City of Kenosha, include the Civil War Museum and the Dinosaur Discover Museum. The museums offer year around family activities, exhibits and opportunities to learn and have fun in a safe, climate controlled environment. Schools, Scouts, groups and organizations are encouraged to visit the Kenosha Public Museums, and the Museum extends an invitation to the community to utilize the Museum's scenic views and state of the art facilities for company or group gatherings, weddings, receptions, reunions and Holiday parties.
